My sister and I were raised by my mother and grandparents in Portugal. I went to an international private school where I was taught up to GCSE level. I spent my winter’s tap dancing, acting and watching old films and my summers camping, fishing and being a pirate. I was raised to be able to look after myself and from a young age I seeked independence. when I turned 16 I decided to venture out into the big world – college in Wales!! I spent my days in college in the student union – I became president of Swansea college SU and Further Education officer of Wales. I became so involved in student politics that I no longer had time for my course. After I left college I returned to Portugal , That is when I met the invisible circus, I fell in love and literally ran away with the circus. We toured around Europe and New Zealand, street performing our way around the world!!!By the time I got to London I was 21 and had learned loads of different skills, from all sorts of performers I had met along the way. I decided to stay and see if I could make a career for myself. Whilst living in London I started to teach circus workshops and form acts with skilled performers, I learned how to make costumes and promote myself.. I have now been performing worldwide for over10 years, in theatres, nightclubs, festivals, Operas, television, Private parties, corporate parties, product launches, charity events, promotional stunts And TV commercials. I married one of my stage managers he is always a source of inspiration for me and makes many of my props. We have been together since 2001 !! He always stage manages my shows and really knows how to get the best and worst out of me ….. I now regularly produce large outdoor shows, indoor cabarets and choreographed synchronised performances.
